Eye-care services
Comprehensive subspecialty eye care under one roof — from routine check-ups to complex microsurgery.
Cataract & Microsurgery
A cataract is the clouding of the eye’s natural lens. It is the most common cause of treatable vision loss, and the only effective treatment is surgery that replaces the cloudy lens with a clear artificial one — an intraocular lens (IOL).
Technology: Bausch + Lomb Stellaris Elite and Oertli phaco systems · Zeiss IOLMaster 700 · A-scan biometry
When to see us
- Blurred or cloudy vision that glasses no longer fix
- Glare and haloes around lights, especially while driving at night
- Colours looking faded or yellowish
- Frequent changes in spectacle power
What we offer
- Stitch-less phacoemulsification (phaco) cataract surgery
- Micro-incision cataract surgery (MICS)
- Premium IOL options, with lens power calculated on the Zeiss IOLMaster 700
- Day-care surgery — most patients go home the same day
- Free cataract surgery for Ayushman Bharat card holders
Glaucoma Services
Glaucoma damages the optic nerve, usually because pressure inside the eye is too high. Vision lost to glaucoma cannot be recovered, and in its early stages it has no symptoms — which is why regular screening matters.
Technology: Zeiss Humphrey perimeter · Zeiss OCT-A · Appasamy YAG laser
When to see us
- Age above 40, or a family history of glaucoma
- Diabetes, high myopia or long-term steroid use
- Gradual loss of side vision (usually noticed late)
- Sudden eye pain, redness and blurred vision — an emergency
What we offer
- Eye-pressure measurement and optic-nerve assessment
- Automated visual-field testing on the Zeiss Humphrey perimeter
- OCT imaging of the optic nerve fibre layer
- Medical management with regular follow-up
- YAG laser procedures and glaucoma surgery
Medical & Vitreoretinal Care
The retina is the light-sensing layer at the back of the eye. Diabetes, high blood pressure, ageing and injury can damage it — often years before vision drops. Early detection keeps treatment simpler and outcomes better.
Technology: Zeiss OCT-A · Kowa fundus cameras · Fundus fluorescein angiography · Green laser · Vitrectomy system · B-scan ultrasound
When to see us
- Diabetes or high blood pressure (screen yearly, even with good vision)
- Sudden floaters, flashes of light or a curtain over vision
- Distorted or wavy central vision
- Sudden, painless loss of vision
What we offer
- Diabetic retinopathy screening and management
- OCT and OCT-angiography, digital fundus fluorescein angiography
- Green laser photocoagulation
- Intravitreal injections for macular disease
- Vitreoretinal surgery (vitrectomy) for detachment and other conditions
Cornea & Ocular Surface
The cornea is the clear front window of the eye. Infections, injuries and degenerations can scar it, and many people suffer from dry, irritated eyes due to screens, pollution and age.
Technology: Pentacam · Nidek OPD-Scan topography · Specular microscopy · IDRA dry-eye analyser
When to see us
- Persistent redness, pain or watering
- A white spot or haze on the black part of the eye
- Burning, grittiness or dryness, especially with screen use
- Reduced vision after an eye infection or injury
What we offer
- Corneal transplantation (keratoplasty)
- Treatment of corneal infections and ulcers
- Specialised dry-eye evaluation with IDRA analysis
- Specular microscopy and Pentacam corneal imaging
- Associated specialty centre: Sunetra — The Cornea Clinic, Swaroop Nagar
Refractive Services (LASIK & ICL)
Refractive surgery reduces or removes dependence on spectacles and contact lenses. The right procedure depends on corneal thickness and shape, which is why a thorough evaluation comes before any decision.
Technology: LASIK platform · Pentacam · Nidek OPD-Scan
When to see us
- Stable spectacle power for at least a year
- Age 18 or above
- Difficulty with glasses or contact lenses at work or sport
- Wish to be spectacle-free
What we offer
- Comprehensive refractive evaluation
- C-LASIK laser vision correction
- ICL (implantable contact lens) for high powers or thin corneas
- Corneal mapping on Pentacam and Nidek OPD-Scan before surgery
Oculoplasty
Oculoplasty deals with the eyelids and the structures around the eye. Problems here can affect both comfort and vision, as well as appearance.
Technology: Dedicated oculoplasty operation theatre
When to see us
- Drooping upper eyelid
- Eyelids turning in or out
- Lumps or growths on the eyelid
- Injury around the eye
What we offer
- Functional eyelid surgery
- Aesthetic eyelid and periocular procedures
- Management of eyelid lumps and growths
Paediatric Ophthalmology & Squint
Children rarely complain about poor vision — they assume everyone sees the way they do. Early detection of refractive errors, lazy eye and squint makes a lifelong difference.
Technology: Paediatric examination equipment · Computerised refraction
When to see us
- Eyes that turn in, out, up or down
- Sitting close to the TV or squinting at the board
- Frequent eye-rubbing, headaches or head-tilting
- A white reflex in the pupil in photographs
What we offer
- Child-friendly eye examination and refraction
- Squint evaluation and squint surgery
- Amblyopia (lazy eye) management
- Associated centre: Little Champs Kids Eye Care Centre, Swaroop Nagar
Ocular Trauma
Eye injuries — from sports, firecrackers, road accidents, workplace or chemical exposure — need prompt specialist attention. Quick treatment can save sight.
Technology: B-scan ocular ultrasound · Dedicated OTs
When to see us
- Any blow, cut or puncture to the eye
- Chemical splash (rinse with clean water immediately)
- Sudden loss of vision after an injury
- A foreign body that will not come out
What we offer
- Assessment and management of open and closed globe injuries
- Foreign-body removal
- Surgical repair and follow-up care
Myopia Clinic
Myopia (short-sightedness) is rising fast among school children with more screen time and less outdoor play. Beyond glasses, today’s aim is to slow how quickly the power increases.
Technology: Computerised refraction · Biometry
When to see us
- Difficulty seeing the board or distant objects
- Spectacle power increasing every year
- Parents with high myopia
- Long hours of screen or near work
What we offer
- Detailed myopia assessment for children
- Contemporary myopia-control strategies
- Regular monitoring of power progression
Contact Lenses & Opticals
The right glasses depend on an accurate prescription and correct fitting. Our optometrists test scientifically and our in-house optical dispenses exactly what your doctor prescribed.
Technology: In-house optical
When to see us
- Headaches, eye strain or blurred vision
- Old glasses that no longer feel right
- Wish to switch to contact lenses
What we offer
- Computerised and subjective eye testing
- Spectacles and contact lenses
